*Sanjaya — What’s Not to Love?
April 20, 2007
I’m not a big fan of American Idol — just don’t have the patience for it any more — but I popped in one night to find Sanjaya with his pony tail Mohawk singing with such an innocent unaffected sweet voice that I fell in love.
Hey! Excuse me. There are all sorts of great singers everywhere. I’m a musician and believe me we are a dime a dozen. Sanjaya though had/has something else. I can’t name it — it’s not even IT — as it is with some. It’s indefinable really but those who love him know what I’m talking about. Even his charisma isn’t what we usually think of as charisma. He is just sort of off the map. I hope he goes on to leave whoever does win Idol in the dust. Let’s see. Yes, my crystal ball is telling me he will but in such an unusual way — a way never seen before — through the back door of some weird genera. I will be gleeful. This is not your fathers Oldsmobile
